The new community you are helping to build

By Krystyna Smolenski and Carme Escorcia, Community Team

Following your recommendations and ideas at the beginning of the school year, St. Peter’s School has made a decision to enhance and expand one of its most important aspects: our community life. Now that we are approaching the conclusion of the school year, we look back at how to make our Community Project even better. To close this school year, we have organised a few events in May and June. To find out more, make sure to visit the Classlist app!

It’s been a year full of new initiatives in our community life: we launched our morning coffee, organised community events planned by parents as well as the school community team, coordinated our Christmas fair, supported new creative projects like ReciCole, and encouraged our members to join our Ambassadors Team. We are proud of the road we have traveled, and at the same time ready for new initiatives in the future.

To close this school year, we have organised a few events in May and June, and we have already scheduled them on Classlist, the app that has been our platform to help us all connect with each other respecting, at the same time, all the data protection requirements.

Pop into Classlist to register to join our closing events of this year:

  • Last Morning Coffee (23rd of May, 9:30), where we will propose new projects for the upcoming school year and listen to your proposals. We will invite you again to join our Ambassadors Team.

  • Essential Oils Workshop (30th of May, 9:15h), organised by one of our beloved parents, Irina

  • Summer rooftop cocktails at Alaire (10th June, 20:00h, 20 tickets available)

Lastly, we are happy to remind you that in the last days, there will be plenty of activities such as the F5 graduation, the Y5 exhibition, or the Y12 graduation, a great way to close the school year before we go on holidays. We would like to thank you all for making this community a little bit more rich, diverse, open-minded and welcoming.

“Connection is the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued. When they can give and receive without judgement.
And when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.”
