Reflective, inquirers and thinkers! Philosophy students on the IB diploma programme have been voluntarily doing different activities.

Two great conferences from two great minds

During the last month and outside school hours, Y11 students have attended to the conferences of two very important international thinkers. Daniel Dennett, an American philosopher, scientist and writer centered in the research of the philosophy of mind, philosophy of science and philosophy of biology; and Will Kymlicka, a Canadian philosopher known for his work on multiculturalism and animal ethics.

Becoming interviewers

The students managed to participate as interviewers in the Barcelona Pensa Festival. On its fifth edition, this philosophy festival is hosted every year in Barcelona and bring together big minds and big perspectives.

Experimenting on perception

As a philosophical experiment on perception, the students went with their teacher to a “Dinner in the dark”. At a famous restaurant called “Dans le noir” the students experience a delightful meal in complete darkness.
