Welcome to Splodge City, a frontier town in the Wild west during the time of cowboys and Indians .
Splodge City has its share of problems with a no good gang running around stealing and shooting . A sheriff has a short life expectancy in this town and the post is currently vacant.
Wilbur ( a shy chef in the Fordoor Saloon ) is given the honor of filling the post. He really doesn’t want the job but hopes to find the courage to do the best he can.
He gets some unexpected help from a wandering cowgirl Billie-Joe and unearths a nasty plot involving the Mayor and the dreaded McNut gang.
Gold is buried somewhere in the town and the Mayor wants it for himself.
Happily the baddies are defeated and the gold goes to those who need it most, Wilbur and his mother, Ma Hubbard.
